DJ Bruno has been a prominent figure in the Boston DJ scene since 1987, known for his diverse mix of Hip Hop, Reggae, RnB, and House Music. He gained popularity in the late 80s and early 90s in the college scene and later at the Boston Loft with Armand Van Helden. In 1992, he launched the legendary Utopia Parties, featuring house music icons like Louie Vega and Kerri Chandler. During the pandemic, Utopia went virtual on DHPRadio.com. He also hosted "Central Underground" on FaceTheBassRecords.com.
DJ Bruno opened Biscuithead Records in 1995, which closed in 2001due to the popularity of digital music. He was named DJ of the Year by Boston Magazine in 2006 and received accolades from The Weekly Dig in 2007. December 22, 2012, was declared DJ Bruno Day by city councilor Tito Jackson. He has performed at events for Boston's Mayor’s office and DJed every Saturday in downtown crossing in the summer of 2022/23. DJ Bruno's motto is, "IF WE DANCE TOGETHER, WE CAN LIVE TOGETHER,"
